Costco - Chicken Shoyu Ramen
Wanna hear something that totally doesn't make sense? Costco sells a 6-pack of Tokyo-style chicken shoyu ramen in their freezer section and it is REALLY FREAKING GOOD. It's way better than logic would have you believe. You can get it at the Costco located in Novato and I hear they have it at the Rohnert Park one as well (tip from Ryan R). These bowls were bought for me by Peggy G. Many thanks!

First off, the chicken is very tasty. It has grill marks and seems to be marinated. Secondly, none of the vegetables taste like frozen vegetables. I know they are because I got them out of the freezer, but once rehydrated, they are quite delicious. The vegetables include green onions, carrots, corn, and red pepper. And lastly, the broth is good as well. It's shoyu (soy sauce) based, which means it is a little salty, but it's not overly so and the flavor is quite pleasant. However, the sodium content (like most ramens) is a bit high so I may not get this again. But I will want to eat it again, so who can say....
