Spicy Miso Garlic Butter Ramen - Ramen Hero

One of the special October flavors from Ramen Hero is the Spicy Miso Garlic Butter.  This kit comes with the broth, noodles and several toppings: chashu (marinated pork), menma (bamboo shoots), and nori (seaweed).  I added some shrimp tempura bits I had leftover from a package, chopped up some green onion, and soft-boiled an egg.  

The broth was very garlicky, true to its name.  A bit more garlicky than I would have liked but that is just personal preference.  I also didn’t find the broth spicy.  I also sprinkled some pepper over it to increase the spunk.  The chashu wasn’t tender but it tasted very good.  All in all, a good bowl of ramen.
